My circumstances have changed, do I need to redo my Will and Lasting Power of Attorney?
If you have recently married, divorced, welcomed the arrival of children or grandchildren, or if your financial situation has changed, please contact us. We will go through your circumstances and how they may have changed since the last time we spoke to you, what preparations you may need to make and how we can help you to make changes to any relevant legal documents. What is a Will Trust?
A Will Trust means that you leave your cash, property and possessions (your assets) to people you trust (your Trustees), who look after them for the people you choose to inherit (your Beneficiaries). This means that your Beneficiaries can benefit from your estate without actually owning the assets themselves.
What type of documents can be stored with Red Apple Law?
Customers can store any legal document in our secure, fire-protected vault, including, but not limited to;
- Wills
- Lasting Power of Attorney documents
- House and Property Deeds
- Funeral Wishes
- Advance Directives/Living Wills
- Other legal documents
How do I know which option is best for me?
1 .The Online single Will option is only suitable if;
- You are not married or co-habiting, over the age of 18, can read and write the English language, intend to leave your estate in equal shares and the options in section 3 below do not apply.
2. The Online Couples Will option is only suitable if;
- You are married, in a Civil Partnership or Co-Habiting, are over the age of 18, can read and write the English language, intend to leave your estate in equal shares and the options in section 3 below do not apply.
3. A Telephone or Video appointment is required if;
- You own foreign assets
- You have business or farming interests
- Your assets are over £325,000 or £650,000 for a couple
- You are excluding someone
- You are gifting your property (bricks and mortar)
- You are not leaving your estate in equal shares
- You are visually impaired.
- You are making a gift of jointly owned property to another who is not the joint owner
- One or more of your beneficiaries are vulnerable, have learning difficulties or are in receipt of (or likely to be in receipt of) state benefits
- One of your beneficiaries is involved in divorce or bankruptcy proceedings.

If the voucher code that was sent to you in your sign up email does not work, please follow these steps:

1. Check which type of Will you opted for in the email which included your voucher code - is it a single or mirror Will?
2. Make sure you are completing the correct Will questionnaire (single or mirror). They have different voucher codes.

LPAs
1. Check which type of LPA you opted for in the email which included your voucher code - is it a Health & Welfare or Property & Financial LPA?
2. Make sure you are completing the correct LPA questionnaire (Health & Welfare or Property & Financialsingle or mirror). They have different voucher codes.
